Babymooning Part 2 – A Quick Update

Dearest Britball Nation,

Just a quick update from me regarding content this week.

As noted last week, I’m currently away in Crete spending time with loved ones as a precursor to the arrival of my firstborn. This has imposed a number of limits on DC’s content output – both thanks to the limited access to reliable internet, and also the limited patience of others for me to be sat indoors on my laptop while ‘on holiday’.

However, thanks to the team we’ve muddled through with most of our content and covered two huge events in the Britball Calendar – the U17 National Finals, and the IFAF European Championships.

Congratulations on all the programmes that participated in a hugely successful pair of tournaments on Saturday, and the GB Lions for finishing strong on the international stage!

All that said, this week, in particular,┬áit’s going to be tough to get content out. We’ve been informed they’re cutting the power to the village for the day on Tuesday (apparently that’s a thing they do here) and I’ll be travelling back to the UK on Wednesday – so frustratingly it’s going to be tough to share any content at all on these two days!

Don’t despair though! It just means I’m going to cram the core of this week’s most important content into a -very- early start this morning and get it all out to you a.s.a.p!

Usual service should resume from Thursday.

Play hard, play safe,
