BAFA Announce GB Lions Flag Women’s Roster for IFAF Euros 2019

The British American Football association have announced the GB Lions Womens Flag Gold and Silver rosters ahead of the 2019 IFAF European Championships, with the men’s roster announcement also expected imminently!


The GB Lions women’s flag squad for the 2019 IFAF European Championships in Israel has been revealed.

The tournament takes place in Jerusalem from 28 August – 1 September.

Head Coach Dean Whittingslow commented:

We wanted to select the Gold Squad with the best chance of winning at the Euros and believe we have chosen the team that will give us that opportunity in Israel.”

Alongside the Gold squad selection process for the Euros, Coach Whittingslow and staff have also announced the GB women’s flag Silver Lions development squad. The Silver Lions will train alongside the Gold squad with the ultimate aim to develop players for selection for Gold in future.
