BAFA Confirms Under 19’s Postseason Fixtures

The British American Football Association have shared the following confirmed postseason fixtures for the Under 19s format of the British leagues.

Division One sees the top two teams from each of the two conferences (North/South) go head to head, for a place at the National Finals – winners headed to Britbowl, those who come up short competing for the National Plate.

Meanwhile, the next two best teams in each conference with compete for a regional trophy.

Finally, in Division Two all seven teams that completed the season will head to a National tournament, hosted by Black Country Vipers on August 11th.

This gives us the following confirmed postseason fixtures:

August 12 2018

Division Two National Finals

(Hosted by Black Country Vipers)

Round One Fixtures:

  • #1 Kent Exiles : Bye
  • #2 Black Country Vipers: Bye
  • #3 Wembley Stallions vs #6 Ipswich Cardinals
  • #4 Essex Spartans vs  #5 Leeds Academy Assassins

Semi Finals:

  • Winner of Essex/Leeds vs Kent Exiles
  • Winner of Wembley/Ipswich vs Black Country Vipers

Winners proceed to Division Two Championship game.

August 12 2018

Division One Semi-Finals
  • North: Manchester Titans host East Kilbride Pirates
  • South: London Blitz host Hertfordshire Cheetahs

Victors progress to Britbowl, runners-up to National Plate.


August 19 2018

Division One Regional Trophy Finals
  • North: Highland Wildcats host Merseyside Nighthawks
  • South: Solent Seahawks host London Warriors


With the National Finals (Plate and Britbowl) currently intended for the weekend of 25/26 August 2018, currently awaiting confirmation of dates, times and locations.
