BAFA Introduces More Rigorous Requirements For Uniball Programmes Ahead of 17/18 Season

BAFA Director of Competitions, Russ Hewitt, has shared with British University American Football Coaches and Presidents that for the upcoming 17/18 BUCS season teams will be expected to meet league minimum standards before they will be considered eligible to be scheduled fixtures during the upcoming season.

Following a number of teams withdrawing either prior to, or during, the 2016/17 BUCS season due to a lack of structure teams will now be expected to meet the league minimum requirements of three BAFCA Level One Coaches and the Team President registered before the team will be considered eligible to be factored into the 2016/17 league schedule.

These registrations will be expected ahead of the BUCS conference in July, and thus teams’ new committees will need to bear this in mind if/when recruiting coaches for the upcoming season.
