2019 U17 National Championship Finals Day – Saturday 10 August

The 2019 U17 Youth Contact finals day will take place on Saturday 10 August at Stourbridge Rugby Football Club, Bridgnorth Road, Stourbridge, West Midlands DY7 6QZ.

This year’s tournament will see the country’s top 16 youth teams battle for the Plate and National Championships.

The event starts with the Plate finals in the morning, featuring the four second-place finishers from the six u17 youth contact conferences, as well as the four third-place finishers with the best records.

Kicking off at 10.30am, all teams will play three rounds of fixtures, starting with the highest seeds playing the lowest in a quarter-final, then a winner vs winner semi-final round and ranking rounds for the knocked-out teams. The event culminates in a final game between the two undefeated teams.

The U17 Britbowl Championship event gets underway at 3pm, following the same knock out structure as the earlier Plate final. The teams competing will include all six u17 youth contact conference champions, as well as the two second-placed teams with the best records in the national standings.

2019 U19 Division Two Finals Day – Sunday 25 August

The finals will also take place at Stourbridge Rugby Football Club. This year’s tournament will see the top two teams from each of the North and South Conferences battle it out for the 7v7 title.

The event will start with two semi-finals, the Southern Conference winners taking on the second placed team in the North, and the Northern Conference winners playing the Southern runners up. The winners will face off for the Division 2 title, while the losing semi-finalists will battle it out for 3rd and 4th place.
