BAFCA Open Board and Officer Roles to Applicants

The British American Football Coaches Association have shared the list of roles up for election and appointment in 2019, and have called for nomination/application submissions from those who wish to step up and help the coaching association with their continued efforts to raise the standard of the sport in the UK.

The following Director roles will be elected to the BAFCA board at this year’s BAFCA AGM (13 July 2019), and candidates must be proposed and seconded by BAFCA Members.

  • Vice President
  • Finance Director
  • Development Director
  • Director without Portfolio (Marketing & Communications)
  • Director without Portfolio (TBC)

Candidates will need to prepare presentations exploring their suitability to the role(s) they wish to stand for, with proposals and seconds submitted ahead of 29 June, ahead of proxy voting opening on 30 June. Nominations/seconds should be submitted to President@BAFCA.co.uk.

Alongside these elected roles the Board are asking for applications for the following Officer roles that are appointed by the Board.

  • Flag Coaching Development Officer
  • Policy & Procedures Officer
  • Safeguarding & Welfare officer
  • Relationships & Coordination Officer (North)
  • Relationships & Coordination Officer (Central)
  • Relationships & Coordination Officer (North)
  • Women’s Coach Development Officer

Deadline for applications to these Officer roles is 29 June 2019. Candidates should submit a Letter of Application and CV to BAFCA President Wayne Hill at President@BAFCA.co.uk.
