Bath Killer Bees Expanding Coaching Staff ahead of 17/18 Campaign

The Killer Bees had a roller coaster season in 2016/17 – including a shock win over the Birmingham Lions at Uniball’s biggest event –  xpLosION – the Lion’s first ever defeat in their marquee showcase. The Bees battled in the toughest Premiership South to date, and for their upcoming season are looking to expand their coaching staff to continue their competitive run in the top tier.

The Bath Killer Bees are looking to expand their coaching staff for the 2017/18 season. Bath Killer Bees have just completed our 25th club anniversary and currently compete in the Premiership South division of BUCS leagues. We pride ourselves in our strong, friendly family club tradition, led by Head Coach Pat Snooks and are looking for new coaching staff to improve the team in all positions and continue to compete against the top university teams in the BUCS league.

We are primarily looking for an Offensive co-ordinator that is able to demonstrate previous coaching experience as well as holding at least Level 1 coaching qualification. Positional coaches must be prepared to achieve their Level 1 during the next season.
Currently all positions are on a voluntary basis.

Best we can tell, it's the first time the Bees have defeated the Lions in the history of the two teams... Photography by Rose Wilford.

All candidates must be prepared to fully commit to the Killer Bees programme and be able to commit to training and classroom sessions throughout the season. Training and classrooms are normally held on Thursdays (classrooms prior to team training) and on Sundays during pre-season, with additional Special Teams training.

The players also have additional S&C training during the week, managed by qualified Sports Training Village staff
