#BNAs2016 – Announcement Schedule

Welcome one and all to the first ever Britball Nation Awards, celebrating all things Britball in 2016.

We have a host of awards coming up over the next few weeks, with various selection methods being used to determine the winners and losers. Ahead of the video submissions, the Nation’s Choice and the Nation Nomination awards, we present our lead-off categories, determined by a panel of Britball experts (Eds: ‘experts’) from all versions of the game in this country.

There’s a possibility there may be a need for some flexibility with some of these, but in principle here’s the schedule for awards to be announced over the next couple of weeks as we await Uniball kicking off once again!

January 3rd-6th: #TeamDC Selections winners announced

This will mostly be the smaller awards, often looking at the more amusing events of the past year, field fashion disasters, or things that have really stood out in the minds of those behind the scenes here at DC Towers. We’ll whittle down a shortlist of nominees and select our winner.

These kick off January 3rd with the Best Uniform 2016 Award

January 8th: Video Submission Awards and Nations Choice awards open for votes

The six awards decided by public vote will open up for votes for one week only!  We’ll shortlist the cream of the crop in each category and share these with the #BritballNation via our Facebook page and YouTube channel. Voting will close 23:59 on 15 January.

January 9th-13th: Nation Nomination Awards winners announced

Some biggies in here, including prizes for the victors! Team, Player and Coach of the Year will be shortlisted and selected by a panel of DC staffers and Britball veterans from across the ‘Nation.

January 16th-20th: Video Submission and Nation’s Choice winners announced

Still awaiting confirmation, but hoping to announce some prizes for these soon too!
