Britball Abroad | Knops Returns From Injury as Majestics Move to 3-1

The Seattle Majestics earned their first-ever victory over the San Diego Surge this past weekend, as they put together an impressive defensive showing to come away as 22-10 victors.

The win moves the Majestics to 3-1 and is all the more significant due to it being the first loss of the season so far for the Surge, who had come into the game with the #1 ranked offence in the WNFC after blowout win against the San Diego Rebellion and the Silver Stars.

Having missed the previous game, versus the LA Bobcats, due to injury, Knops returned to the gridiron with only light duties on Saturday evening – blocking on special teams plays, and not yet utilised once more in the short yardage situations that have become her forte.

That said, eagle-eyed Britball fans watching the live stream of the fixture will be able to spot Knops’ eagerness to get back into the action, glued to the OC’s elbow, lidded and hungry throughout the four quarters!

Gaby and the Majestics’ next action sees them this time hit the road to the Surge, eager to ensure they lock up an opportunity for postseason action with a fourth straight victory in Week Six.
