Britball Veteran, Jeff Rutter, retires from UK American football

Per the DC Presidents Media Page, Durham County President’s owner and former quarterback, Jeff Rutter, has announced his retirement from Britball.

Often a controversial figure within the community for his outspoken opinions, few could ever argue with Rutter’s passion for the game.

While the Presidents continue to build towards a return to the league, the long-time quarterback will retire with his name in the Britball record books, if such a thing exists, with a 12 passing touchdown performance that it seems may never be equalled – standing strong 30 years later!

Per Britballnow.com

  1. 12 – Rutter, Jeff (Washington Presidents) vs. Stockport Falcons (15th May 1987)

After 35 years at the helm of the Presidents Programme Jeff will be stepping away from the programme to prepare for his actual retirement with the Presidents now moving forwards under the leadership of new owner, Mark Quinn, who’s been involved with the programme since the original Junior Programme.
