Britbowl XXXI Live Stream breaking records!

The live stream of this year's National Championship Final between the London Blitz and Tamworth Phoenix has smashed all records on the DblCoverage YouTube channel, youtube.com/dblcoverage Despite the stream only going live at the weekend, with thousands more views expected from viewers looking to recap the incredibly exciting final clash, the broadcast of the Championship game is already the most watched video - and by a good margin! There were over 9,000 viewers of the live stream itself and so far Britball fans have consumed over 266,000 minutes of #Britbowl31 action - rocketing past DC's previously most-watched event: the 2016/17 BUCS National Championships stream, that featured back-to-back Division One and Premiership Championship games earlier this year (~230,000 minutes viewed to date). This record-breaking viewing goes alongside record attendance of the game itself at Sixways Stadium, with over 1000 supporters in attendance during the final, creating an amazing atmosphere within the stadium. The full weekend of streams stood out this year due to the increasing support of BAFA to ensure the British game reaches a wider audience. DC were able to invest in the promotion of both the live event and the streams, and combined with the ever-improving quality of production provided by Onside Productions, it was by far the most comprehensive broadcast of the National Championship in the modern era of the British Game. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and certainly we here at #TeamDC hope this is just another step up the ladder of expanding and enhancing the way we as a community are able to share the game we love!
