Cambridgeshire Cats Seek Defensive Coordinator and Positional Coaches

The Cambridgeshire Cats are on the hunt for a Defensive Coordinator and positional coaches for their 2018 campaign.

Competing in the DivisionĀ One South East conference, one of the most competitive in British American Football, the Cambridgeshire Cats finished the 2017 season with a 5-5 record and were within touching distance of a playoff berth. The Cats are seeking an experienced coach to fill the role of Defensive Coordinator, although we will also accept applications for other coaching positions. All members of the coaching staff are expected to take on the following responsibilities:

  • Liaise with other coaches to maximise the effectiveness of training sessions
  • Develop the skills of rookies and veterans alike
  • Attend as many training sessions (Sunday mornings) and games as possible
  • Contribute to analysis of footage (Hudl)
  • BAFCA level 1 certified, or willing to obtain certification with support from the Cats

If you are interested in getting involved with the Cambridgeshire Cats organisation please contact us through our Facebook page.
