Chester Legion Announce New Head Coach for 2017/18 Campaign

Ahead of kicking off their 2-17/18 Uniball Campaign the University of Chester Legion got in touch with DC to share news of their growing partnership with the Chester Romans Programme, including the appointment of a new Head Coach to the Legion.

After this year’s BUCSĀ season the Chester Legion evaluated their first ever league performance and were not satisfied with certain aspects of the season so decided to make some changes.

After being approached by local BAFANL Programme, the Chester Romans, the Legion decided to accept an offer to install a new coaching unit made up of Romans coaches and players and other highly regarded and experienced coaches from other Uniball and adultĀ teams.

New team HC, Mike Ireland of the Chester Romans, had this to say about the 2017/2018 season with the Legion:

“We’re gonna pound the rock and blitz everyone on every play. Cos bants.”

The Legion committee and players are extremely excited heading into the new season and are looking forward to seeing some good results under the new coaching regime.
