Coach Nathan Evans Steps Down, Hadley to Head Up Pirates Into Premiership

The BUCS Division One South Champions, the UEA Pirates, have announced the departure of Head Coach Nathan Evans. Coach Evans headed up the Pirates through the most successful season in the club’s history in 2018/19 as the Pirates build upon successive playoff seasons by earning promotion to the top tier of British University American Football last season.

Stepping up to replace Coach Evans will be Defensive Coordinator Nigel Hadley, who lead the Pirates’ defence in 18/19, who established themselves as the #2 defence in Division One last season, and the most resilient outfit in the 1A South East.
