Crewe Railroaders Announce New Coaching Staff Additions

The Crewe Railroaders committee have announced the appointment of their new Head Coach and Defensive Line Coach, earlier this week.

Per the Crewe Railroader’s Facebook page:

The Railroader committee is pleased to announce the appointment of Nathe Owen as the new Head Coach for the 2018 season and beyond.
Coach Owen brings a wealth of experience having played for the Derby Braves, Staffordshire Surge and more recently the Merseyside Nighthawks as well as coaching at the Keele Crusaders.

With a lot of new ideas and enthusiasm we can’t wait to get started on next season.

Welcome to the family coach!!!

Alongside this announcement, the Railroaders have announced the appointment of a new Defensive Line coach.

Per the Crewe Railroader’s Facebook page:

We are very pleased to announce another addition to our Coaching team. Phil Mansfield is joining us as Defensive Line Coach.

Having first got into the game in the 1980s at Leicester Panthers his career was cut short by a knee injury. After a few years away he returned to play and coach with Nottingham Caesars and Leicester Falcons in Premier and Division 1 and 2, coaching the D Line and also taking on the DC role. He will be a great addition in coaching our D Line and installing the new Defence from Head Coach Nathe Owen.

Welcome aboard Coach!
