Under 17s | Britbowl Championship and National Plate Tournaments

Saturday 12 August 2017

Sheffield Hallam University Sports Park, Bawtry Rd, Sheffield, S9 1UA

Sixteen teams from across the breadth of the Britball Nation descend on Sheffield to battle it out for Silverware in five-a-side full contact American Football.

Both defending champions, the Highland Wildcats and East Kilbride Pirates return to defend their Plate and Britbowl titles respectively – but will a new pair of champions emerge from this year’s tourneys?

With every team playing three fixtures through the day? Wow there’s going to be a lot of Britball action going down at this event! Learn more about the teams attending.

Flag | Adult Flag Britbowl Championship Finals

Saturday 19 August 2017

Sheffield Hallam University Sports Park, Bawtry Rd, Sheffield, S9 1UA

We’re not the most familiar with the flag game (go check out our friends at Pulling the Flag for their playoffs preview) but we’re given to understand that it could be something like the top two teams in the North and South head to Sheffield to play out two semi-finals, ahead of a third place playoff, and climaxing with the National Championship fixture between the top two flag teams in the nation!

Or possibly a three-round perfection style championship similar to the Under 17s tourneys?

Either way it should be great day of five-a-side flag with the best teams in the Nation putting on a show!

Under 19’s | North & South Regional Trophy Finals

Sunday 20 August 2017

The third and fourth place finishers in each of the two Under 19s conferences will go head to head for some regional bragging rights and to hoist a new piece of silverware introduced for the 2017 season! The Northern third placer will host fourth place in their conference, and third place in the south will host the team finishing fourth in theirs.

We should know more about who’s facing who in the next few weeks.

Adult and Under 19’s | Britbowl National Championships

Saturday 26 August 2017

Sixways Stadium, Warriors Way, Worcester, WR3 8ZE

Full contact Britball at its finest as the top two teams from the Adult and Under 19s games head to the impressive Sixways Stadium to compete for championship titles.

The Under 19s will kick things off at midday, with full contact nine-a-side balling, before the adult final gets underway at 1600.

Great venue, great football, and even if you can’t make it to Worcester we’re hoping to live stream both games in what we hope will be the biggest weekend of live Britball action on the internet!

Adult and Under 19’s | Adult Division One National Championship and Under 19’s National Plate Final

Sunday 27 August

John Charles Centre for Sports, Leeds, LS11 5DJ

Another double-headed bonanza of Britball as the Under 19’s Plate Finalists kick the day off at noon, followed by the Northern and Southern Division One Champions, promotion to the top tier of the British game already secured, going toe to toe at 1600.

With two north versus south clashes played out on the same field, it’s going to be a great day of action, so well worth the trip even if you’re not there directly linked to the programmes playing for silverware on the day.

Also, for the first time ever, we’re hoping to work with BAFA to ALSO bring a live stream of the day’s events to all those unable to make it across to the fixtures themselves – meaning if our NGB are (and more importantly YOU’RE) on board? We could be bringing you all FOUR live National Finals streamed in one weekend!

Flag | Cadet and Under 17s Championship Finals

Saturday 2 September 2017

Sheffield Hallam University Sports Park, Bawtry Rd, Sheffield S9 1UA

Again, flag’s not our forte so bear with us here, but with two formats of the game headed to the finals tournaments? There should be a lot of talented young ballers all in one place – the future of the British game battling it out in God’s Own County.

Adult | Division Two Regional Championships

Sunday 10 September 2017

John Charles Centre for Sports, Leeds, LS11 5DJ

With the largest pool of teams entering the postseason, the Division Two Championships finals this year see the four best outfits from the bottom tier head to Leeds to fight for some silverware of their own!

With all of last year’s Division Two finalists having had strong seasons in the middle tier, will we see the birth of new Britball powerhouses in this double header day?

The Southern final kicks off at 1200, before the top two in the North take to the gridiron at 1600.

There’s currently no plans to stream these ones… but never say never!
