Exiles Continue To Add Quality And Experience To Their Coaching Roster

It may be the offseason but the Exiles are working hard to prepare for 2020.
The Kent Exiles Adult Team are pleased to announce three appointments to the coaching staff ahead of the 2020 season

The Exiles welcome the return of Coach Malcolm Phillips – a Britball veteran coach; previously with the Exiles, Olympians and GB. Coach Malcolm returns to coaching and will lead the Exiles Secondary. Coaches of his experience and ability don’t come around very often so we are delighted that Coach Malcolm has decided to return to coaching with the Exiles.

Coach Cesar Ferri, former Head Coach and founder of the Alicante Sharks has been appointed as the Exiles Linebacker Coach – Coach Cesar has vast experience on the defensive side of the ball and is excited to be back, coaching at a high level.

On the offense, the Exiles have added Coach Priyank Patel, who will assist with Tight Ends and Wide Receivers. Coach Priyank is a young and upcoming coach who has previously coached with the Leicester Falcons and City Sentinels University.

Head Coach John Moore said:

‘We have not stopped working to improve the Exiles adult team. We want to become a permanent fixture in the Premiership South and push for playoff football. These coaches are just one part of that plan. We have already recruited several key players and we start our 2020 season in earnest in October with a testing day at Crystal Palace.

Anyone interested in playing for a Premiership team in the South is invited to get in touch. We are also looking at athletes in other sports who are interested in perhaps a different challenge.’
