Falcons Fend Off Exiles To Win Division One Title

Two programmes on the up and up headed to Leeds on Sunday to fight for the Division One National Title. While promotion was already in the bag, neither team pulled any punches in their final fixture, the two sides providing one another’s toughest test of the season so far!

With the Falcons coming in heavy favourites after an undefeated campaign, it was the Exiles that drew first blood when a hand-off went awry on Leicester’s first drive, and Miguel Pascal-Johnson scooped and scored to stun spectators with an early lead for the southerners!

However, in a great back and forth game, full of strong play and stronger hits that proved both teams were ready for top-tier balling, the Falcons’ big-play potential eventually won through for them, relying on the knack them shown all year to get themselves out of tough situations, third and very-longs were instead converted for touchdowns and the Falcons completed an undefeated campaign with a 36-29 victory over a very impressive Kent Exiles outfit.
