It’s been a decent start to BUCS life for the UCL Emperors and Quimble Vipers. From throwing a ball around in a park, to the playoffs in under 3 years, is credit to the work that has gone into getting the programmes off the ground.
Both teams are dedicated to going about running a club the right way, and part of that is a commitment to charity work. We are privileged to be able to play the game we love whilst studying at esteemed institutions, so we want to use our position to make a positive change in the community.
On the 24th March, we are competing against each other to show everyone the Vipers are better, but primarily to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Our aim is to raise £3000 from donations both on the night and in advance online.
Whilst we would love you to attend if you are in the London area, that is not the reason for this article. We want to make you aware of our football themed prize giveaway!
The Jacksonville Jaguars UK have kindly donated two items that should entice the NFL fans among you.
The first item is a Jaguars Se7ens shirt signed by Jaguars legend, 5-time pro-bowler, 3-time All-pro, USC all-American and sure-fire future pro-football Hall of Fame tackle Tony Boselli.
The second item up for grabs is a pair of tickets to the Jacksonville Jaguars training session at Allianz field on Friday the 22nd September, two days before they play the Baltimore Ravens in the international series at Wembley.
We also have items from EP Sports and Britballerz that should interest the players out there. Any further donations of items to the giveaway would be greatly appreciated!
To enter, please donate any sum to the Just Giving link provided and leave your name. The prize giveaway will be held after the event by the Jaguars who will contact the lucky winners.
