Furness Phantoms Announce Joe Allington as Head Coach

Following the conclusion of their 2019 campaign, the Furness Phantoms have announced veteran playmaker Joe Allington as their new Head Coach.

Having played numerous positions across his time with the Phantoms (and previously the Terriers), Coach Allington steps up into his first Head Coach position, looking to assist the Phantoms in improving on a disappointing 2-6 2019 record.

Per the Phantoms’ Facebook page:

The Phantoms are proud to say,
Joe Allington has stepped up as the new Head Coach.

With a number of years under his belt with The Phantoms/Terriers, vast knowledge and experience in a number of positions around the field and the sport in general, and shown true leadership and dedication to the team. What better person to stand up and take over the Head Coach position?
