GB Lions Women continue unstoppable drive to Canada

The British Women’s American Football Community have pulled together over the past weekend to run, bike and lift their way to Canada… and back again it seems! All with the goal of raising funds to help get support the Lions in their trip to the 2017 World Championships, hosted in Langley, British Columbia.

With the first weekend of events in the bag, so far the ballers, along with their friends, family and supporters, have ground out over twelve and a half thousand kilometers worth of sweat and grind, and raised a little shy of £5000 – meaning they’re still in need of more community support to help them reach their funding goal that will assist the team to make the trip to the Championships.

You can offer your support directly via the campaign’s GoFundMe page, or by getting in touch with any of the individuals/teams involved and pledging your support!

In the meantime, let’s take a look-see at what everyone was getting up to this past weekend!
