Hereford Stampede Seek Opponents for Associate Campaign

The Hereford Stampede American Football Club are pleased to announce they have been granted the Associate status to the BAFA National Leagues, and thus can start to look for opponents to fill their Associate Schedule of the required three home and two away games during the 2019 season.

The requirements for these fixtures are as follows:

  • Games must be played on a Saturday
  • Require a full BAFRA crew to officiate and,
  • Have a BAFA assessor at the fixture.

The Stampede are in the process of finalising dates with fellow associate team, Etone Jaguars, for a home game and potentially a return fixture.

However, they are also looking for other teams who would be in a position to assist in completing the full complement of Associate fixtures.

Stampede Chairman Stephen Hall commented,

“After taking the first steps towards League status back in 2018, our team of coaches, players and staff are raring to get stuck into some long-awaited game days.

We have fantastic facilities and would love to host any teams wanting to make the trip down to cider country!”

The Stampede are looking to preferably set up fixtures on any of the following dates, though would potentially consider alternates with enough notice.

  • May 4th
  • June 1st
  • July 13th
  • July 27th
  • Aug 10th
  • Aug 24th
