Hertfordshire Tornadoes Are Seeking A New Head Coach To Lead The Team Forward

As the longest running, full contact, women’s American football team we are looking to move forward following on from the departure of long-standing Coach Roberts who has decided to step down due to personal commitments

This is a very unique opportunity for the right applicant to come into an established setup and truly shape an exciting future. We have a group of young, enthusiastic, and motivated players, with a committed core of exceptional coaches, all of whom are looking for a strong character with proven experience within the game to lead us forward and take us to even greater success

Any Head Coach applicant should have experience within the game (International, Senior, Junior, Youth or Women’s) and hold at least a BAFCA level one qualification, level 2 or 3 would be better still. Should you not meet these minimum criteria currently, but are still interested in being involved, we are always looking to add to our positional coaching staff

As Head Coach you would be expected to organise practice scripts, outline positional coaches and Co-ordinators responsibilities and focuses, as well as game plan, tape review and analysis. You will ensure that all sessions are run effectively, safely, and fill them with knowledge, skills and enthusiasm

The committee will look through applications and arrange interviews with each applicant. Interviews will be held on weekends over the summer, specifics will be discussed with successful applicants
