JagTag Now Part Of The ‘This Girl Can’ Campaign

Continuing their incredible work to support the growth of the game in the UK, at the end of January Jaguars UK announced that their JagTag programme is now part of the ‘This Girl Can’ campaign – a National Lottery funded campaign aimed at ensuring women across the UK can access the fitness activities that are right for them!

With JagTag already bringing a simplified version of American Football to over 4,000 girls across the UK, the hopes are this partnership between these two awesome organisations can continue to grow that number!

Andy Scott, Senior Jaguars UK JagTag coach, told DC how the partnership made perfect sense, as it allows both the Jags and TGC to build on the great foundations both organsations have already laid:

“We are really pleased to launch the partnership with This Girl Can. We already partner with Sport England on the JagTag Satellite Club programme and this initiative has been running at several venues for over a year, In this time we continue to see strong participation from girls of all ages (11-18) and this partnership will only enhance our ability to get more and more young women involved in the sport.”

From their foundations in London, JagTag have expanded their Schools Programme across the UK, including Gateshead and Manchester, and their recent partnership with the Manchester Titans has seen the establishment of three Satellite Clubs across Manchester
