Kent Exiles Looking For Quality Coaches At All Levels Of The Game

It’s been a strong season for the Kent Exiles programme. Their teams entered Championship playoffs at all levels of the game this summer – across their Youth, Junior and Senior programmes the Exiles went an astounding 24-4! (10-2, 6-0, 8-2 respectively).

Their Junior (U19) team brought home a National Championship this season, with the Senior reaching back to back semi-finals – an impressive feat in their first season back up in the first division.

All in all the Exiles are clearly programme going from strength to strength, whose best is yet to come – as their top-level grass roots development enhances their Senior programme.

Their success has lead to continued growth, and more players means there’s a need for more coaches – are you ready to join one of the top up-and-coming programmes in the #BritballNation?

Over the last 25 years the Exiles have grown from small beginnings to a fantastic organisation with over 200 people playing, coaching and volunteering in our Flag, Youth, Junior and Adult Teams.

It has always been our aim to provide somewhere for as many people as possible to play this great game, and we are excited to say that this off season we will be launching a second team at Youth level and starting our very own Women’s team.

We continue to grow at all levels of the club, and this year made the semi-finals of Division One at Adult level, the National Finals at Youth level, and we were crowned National Champions at Junior level.

To ensure we continue this growth and development we’re looking for additional coaches at all levels.

We’re especially looking for a few experienced coaches to join the team and take senior roles, but we’re also looking for you if you have a passion for the game and want to learn.

We can offer you continued development, led by our Director of Coaching Scott Rowe (Former GB Youth Defensive Co-Ordinator and multi championship winning player and coach), fantastic back-up from our committee who look after all off field tasks, and a great facility for training as well as our award winning match day experiences.

In return we ask that you attain your BAFCA qualifications and play an active part in developing yourself as well as your players.

If you’re interested in getting involved with coaching at the Exiles, then please just get in touch via Contactus@kentexiles.co.uk

We’ve always been a club that ensures our success by making sure we have the right foundations in place, we are proud of what has been achieved and want to make sure we continue growing in the future, that’s where you come in!
