Lions Raise Over £750 For Charity Via Inaugural Pro Cloud Trophy

The Birmingham Lions Women’s American Football Team have shared news of the incredible success of the first ever Pro Cloud Trophy, which not only created an incredible weekend of International American Football, but also raised more than £750 for their chosen charity, Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

While the Lions struggled to find success on the field of play, losing out to both visiting outfits, the tournament itself was a huge success, especially considering it was the first of its kind held in the UK.

Per the Lions’ Facebook Page:

Contributions came from half the tournament profits, two bucket shakes and a wonderful contribution from Lion Jemma Williams who used the Transatlantic Trophy, alongside her well-timed birthday, to generously raise £160.

A big thank you to everyone that donated and to those that assisted behind the scenes to support efforts – Wiktoria JörCéline BissonAffy Afia and Elisha Huxtable in particular.

JustGiving: £536.49
Jemma Williams: £160
Bucket Shake outside BCH: £62.27
