Under 19s Division One South: Hertfordshire Cheetahs vs Cambridgeshire Cats

UK American Football Live hit the road this week as they head to the southern side of the Britball Nation for the first time this season – sharing the great work of the Hertfordshire Cheetahs as they host an Armed Forces Day Celebration this Sunday – a jampacked event of football and family, as the Cheetahs Under 19s and Adult take to the field, followed by a round-robin flag tournament for the three branches of Cadets – Air, Sea and Army.

Having gotten themselves set up and good to go with lightning speed, the team are able to bring you the U19’s fixture ahead of this afternoon’s adult game:

UKAFL Director, Mick Tyler, told

“We were really pleased by the response we got when we asked teams all across the league to express interest in having their games streamed this year!

This being just our first season sharing the British game, more teams got in touch than we could broadcast at this point and as such we chose to focus on those teams that were going the extra mile and hosting Charity events, raising funds and awareness for great causes in 2019.

The Cheetahs’ Armed Forces Day celebration was an obvious selection – not only two very talented teams to show off southern football for the first time on UKAFL, but we’ll also get to help Herts raise funds and awareness in support of those that serve in our British armed forces.”

Hertfordshire Cheetahs Chairman, Luke Clark, shared that the Cheetahs were really excited to be able to share their event, potentially all across the globe – including to members of the BritballNation who are currently serving overseas!

“The team at UKAFL have been working with the Cheetahs committee to make sure this game reaches audiences from all over the world.

We are delighted to be able raise the awareness of British American Football and the Armed Forces and I want to thank those who have made this day possible including Awards for All, the Cadets, UKAFL and my Committee members.”

We’ll bring you further details of the Live Stream as soon as they’re available.

The festivities get underway at 1100, with the Under 19s game kicking off at 1200 ahead of the Armed Forces Cadets tourney and the marquis matchup, the live-streamed SFC 1 Central showdown, getting underway at 1500.
