Match Report | BAFA ‘NL 19 – Hunters vs Steam

Game 5 | Dumfries Hunters 60 Darlington Steam 14

The Hunters responded in the best way possible from the defeat to the Inverclyde Goliaths, with a renewed focus on ‘Winning the Next Game!’

That focus was evident throughout this game, on every snap, in every quarter, and in each phase of the game, as evidenced by two Defensive scores, a Punt Return TD and Rushing and Passing TD’s!

Credit must also go to the Darlington Steam as they never gave up, as evidenced by their two TD’s in the 3rd Quarter when they went to their Wildcat formation! We wish their injured player all the best in his recovery and return to the field!

There were many standout performers for the Hunters. The team were challenged to improve their focus on the ‘now’ and to take the initiative, and to a man they executed!

The Hunters next matchup, and last match of the Regular Season will be against the Clyde Valley Blackhawks at the David Keswick Centre on Sunday 28th July!
