On Sunday 16th June 2019 the Kent Exiles took the journey into Surrey to take on the Farnham Knights in their fifth fixture of the 2019 season.
The game began slowly, with sure tackling from both defenses making it hard to move the ball. Exiles junior graduate and University of Brighton linebacker Johnny Ndumbe saw his first action of the season this week, plugging into a linebacking corps alongside Joe Alexis and Theo Coleman-Brown. Meanwhile, Daniel Raeburn (another former-exile junior) saw significant game time in the defensive backfield.
The Knights would take an early lead with a strong running game, putting two scores on the board to make it 12-0 late in the second quarter.
