Exiles juniors got their 2019 season off to a winning start with a dominant 50-12 victory over the Cobham Cougars.
All three phases of the squad contributed to a well-earned victory with an aggressive defense and dangerous special teams feeding a potent offense that scored seven touchdowns on the day.
Great Britain running back Bolaji Adewale scored a hat-trick of touchdowns, including a couple of stunning efforts worthy of the Madden game. Providing explosive support on the ground throughout the afternoon was Jaden Phillips.
Adewale’s GB teammate, quarterback George Reynolds, threw four touchdown passes, one two-point conversion and ran in a pair of two-point attempts, while operating behind a rock-solid offensive line that kept him clean all day.
Callum O’Neil got on the end of two touchdown passes, caught a two-pointer and also delivered one of the blocks of the day.
