McMaster Announces Great Britain Squad U19s

GB Lions U19s Head Coach Neale McMaster has revealed names of those who will take the field in the IFAF European Championships today at 1300 at John Charles Stadium, Leeds.

Coach McMaster shared:

“I am incredibly proud to lead Team GB U19s in their first European Qualifier for several years. I think we have an exceptional group of young men who are ready to go to battle against Norway, with everything on the line.

This is a ‘win and we’re in’ game, with qualification to the European Championships in Bologna, Italy on the line, the players and staff couldn’t be more excited. We are aspiring to represent GB at the highest level possible, which is European Championships first, and then hopefully the World Championships next year. Now we are a long way away from that, and our focus has been on Norway and only Norway for a few weeks now.

We had our last training camp in Hertfordshire last weekend, and coming of a rest week, we couldn’t be in any better shape heading in to the game. All the prep is done and we’re into the game now. In order to attain our goal, the first step is on Saturday afternoon at 1pm. All our eyes are focused on executing the game plan vs Norway and taking that first step.”
