Nation’s Choice Awards

#BritballLove Award

Our #BritballLove award looks at those of the Britball Nation who made the most of their love for Britball to give back to others – be it the community in which they’re based, or a particular cause they’ve helped to raise the profile of and support through fundraising.

This award will look to acknowledge all the great things that the people of the Britball Nation do beyond the gridiron.

For this award, nominees can be either an individual, or a group (team/programme?) or perhaps even an event – something or someone that you think really stands out and highlights the great positives this sport can bring to those within and without the British American Football Community.

Fundraising, raising awareness, or getting stuck in to have a direct impact on the lives of others – all this and more is celebrated with the #BritballLove award.

Your nomination will be judged by the Britball Nation itself, so make sure you sell your chosen nominee to the masses!

How to submit your nomination:

You can submit your nomination via the Google Form at: https://goo.gl/forms/hjpF2NXOlNKT0gnP2

Make sure you complete as many sections of the form as you are able to, and provide links to any content that cannot be included – i.e. highlight videos, press releases, etc.

Please remember only information/accomplishments from 2016 are considered when looking at nominees.

Deadline for nominations is 23:59 GMT on 24/12/2016

Prize Information

As you may have noticed, we’re really working to up our game here at DC, and moving forwards that will include increasing the amount we’re able to give back to great causes. The winner of the #BritballLove award will be responsible for choosing Double Coverage’s charity partner for 2017, so we can help you support the cause you’ve already put such great work into!

Winner Selection

Voting will open once we’ve had a chance to read and discuss submissions, and if necessary shortlist. Voting will remain open for a limited period of time, specified at time of voting commencing. We will share the full nomination (or nominationS if candidate is submitted multiple times.)

Winner will be selected by popular vote, as represented by the most ‘likes’ on a particular nominee’s nomination information.

Programme of the Year

On the field, off the field, with a stocked trophy cabinet and the love of their local community, we’re looking for the complete package here.

We know it’s asking a lot to describe a whole programme in one go, so we’ve made a form that should keep things fairly simple for you.

Remember though, that your submission will be what’s shared and voted upon, so sell yours and your team mates great deeds to the people of the BritballNation!
