A devastating Hurricane, named Harvey, swept through parts of Texas recently bringing wide-spread destruction, flooding and loss of life. The NFL Foundation has announced that it will match Houston Texans owner Bob McNair and the teams' $1 million contribution to the United Way Relief Fund. The total $2 million contributions will support first response efforts by the American Red Cross, Salvation Army and the United Way of Greater Houston. I'm sure you will join DC in thinking about the Houston community during this difficult time and we encourage fans to text give to the American Red Cross Hurricane Harvey relief fund. Due to public safety concerns resulting from the ongoing weather emergency related to Hurricane Harvey, Thursday’s Dallas Cowboys-Houston Texans game originally scheduled to be played in Houston at has been relocated to AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Kickoff on Thursday will remain at 1am BST. UPDATE: The Texans team have returned home to Houston via coaches to be with friends and family. As a result the game has been canceled.
