Railroaders and Surge Purple-Up to support MIND in Week Six

On Sunday, the Crewe Railroaders take the field for their first home game of the season against the Staffordshire Surge.

This week is Mental Health Awareness week and ‘approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year’.

Since both teams chosen charity this season is ‘MIND’ they have together decided to raise money for the cause.

The Railroaders shared:

We would like to thank the Surge for joining us, as we have decided to purchase and wear Purple socks as a donation towards the charity.

On the day we will be asking for donations to put towards the contribution raised by the two clubs.

We would like to invite the entire Britball community to come along to support the cause and watch what is sure to be an exciting game of football.

If you are unable to attend the game, we would like to remind you that you can still donate to MIND directly at: www.mind.org.uk.
