The Division Two finals saw the top teams out of the lower tier travel to Keele University for four hard-fought final fixtures of the 2018/19 Sapphire Series!

Despite valiant¬†showings across the board, none could stand in the way of an undefeated Wembley Stallions side who stampeded to the Division Two title with two convincing victories over the North’s Cheshire Bears and Teesside Steelers.

The Steelers look to have recovered from their dip in form last series with a Northern title and promotion to D1 for next series, while the Cheshire Bears have impressed all season long with their form, particularly on offence where they’ve consistently put up points against all-comers, including winning a shootout with the Kent Exiles for a third place finish.

SF B: Wembley Stallions 39-20 Cheshire Bears (FT)

Sapphire D2 Championship

Cheshire Bears 36-25 Kent Exiles (FT)
