Results | Sapphire Series 18/19 Week Six

The regular Sapphire Series wrapped up with a fourth and final tournament for the Sapphire Division Two North, with three teams that have grown exceedingly familiar with one another this winter heading to Birmingham to face off once more – with the Conference Crown on the line!

As was, it was the turn of the Teesside Steelers to come out on top with two wins this weekend, while the Bears took another win over Birmingham, meaning Teesside and Cheshire finish the regular series tied up at five wins and three losses a-piece! As we’re not 100% sure how tiebreakers are working in Sapphire this year, we’re going to have to wait and see which team comes away with the D2 North Title, but we do at least know both outfits are headed for postseason action!

Birmingham Lions B 28-54 Cheshire Bears
Cheshire Bears 26-20 Teesside Steelers
Birmingham Lions B 30-51 Teesside Steelers
