Sheffield Hallam Warriors looking to bolster coaching staff for upcoming BUCS season

The Sheffield Hallam Warriors are looking to bolster their coaching staff ahead of the 2018/19 BUCS season:

For the upcoming 2018/19 season, the Sheffield Hallam Warriors are looking to expand their coaching staff. More specifically, positional coaches to work under: Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator – Tom Kharchi, and Defensive Coordinator – Richard ‘Grizz’ Batty. Playing in Division One and being a perennial playoff team, we have a storied, well-respected setup that is looking for coaches across all positional groups to help develop a young & exciting team.

Coach Kharchi and Coach Batty have 30+ combined years’ experience in the game. Any coach that joins the Hallam Warriors will be provided with full coaching apparel, support for further development and high-quality mentorship to support them in their role. Coach Kharchi also has strong affiliation and ties with the GB Adult coaching staff as well as many US coaches at the D1 and D2 level from visits to top colleges. Giving further opportunities for coaches to learn and expand their knowledge as a coach to reach their full potential and ambition.

2018/19 Training Schedule:
  • Tuesdays- Classroom Session- 19:00 – 21:00, Collegiate Campus, Collegiate Crescent
  • Thursdays- On-Field Session- 19:30 – 21:30, Sheffield Hallam Sports Park, Bawtry Road

Our home games will be held at Sheffield Sports Park, Bawtry Road, Sheffield. S9 1UA.

We will be holding a returners camp and rookie try-outs on the following dates:
  • 22/9/18 – Returners Training Camp #1, Sheffield Hallam Sports Park, Bawtry Road
  • 23/9/18 – Returners Training Camp #2, Sheffield Hallam Sports Park, Bawtry Road
  • BAFCA Level 1 or higher
  • Previous coaching and/or playing experience
  • Commitment to the weekly on-field session (Thursday) & game attendance
