Week Nine saw “the only table that matters”, the Double Coverage prediction table take shape as those worthy of keeping their jobs open up some green grass between those who will be sold to the dog food factory at season’s end.
As a whole, we maintain a pretty solid 77% success rate after this week. Let’s hope we can hit 80% within two weeks… or else.
Will has pulled ahead of Rose in our rankings with yet another 100% week in the NFC2 South. Both have only dropped one game all season, with Will having to guess seventeen games to Rose’s thirteen. Oheeul was stung by Sheffield’s victory (some might say upset) over Edinburgh, and Rob might want to think against backing Sandwell any time soon as they let him down for a second game in a row. Grant and Matthew continue to fight for last place, once more gaining no favours from the impossible to predict SFC1 East and NFC2 North.
CALL OF THE WEEK
In a thoroughly unimpressive week defined by blow-out victories across the country, it was hard to pick a Call of the Week, but we’re going with Chris correctly backing the Oxford Saints, coming off two defeats in a row, to beat the Solent Thrashers, coming off two wins in a row.
