U19/U17/U12 Finals Venues and Times Announced!

With about one month to go, the League have released the venues and kickoff times for the Junior and Youth contact and flag finals.

National Leagues Youth Coordinator contacted the league’s programmes this evening and it should be noted that this e-mail also shared information about the Senior Premiership and Division One finals as the U19 Championship and Plate games will be preludes to the Senior events.

Evening All

Let me start by apologising in what has been a drawn out process in announcing the U17/U19 Contact Finals and Flag Football Finals Events for 2016; unfortunately there have been several unforseen issues that have arisen and caused significant delays. I am aware that these will be discussed in due course.

With that in mind we are now all confirmed and are delighted to announce the details for this years BAFANL Championship Events.

There are a lot more events this year, the full details are listed below:

BAFANL U19 Championship Final
Saturday 27th August: Worcester Sixways Stadium (KO 12pm)
(This will be played as a prelude to the BAFANL Premier Divison Final)

BAFANL U19 Plate Final
Sunday 28th August: Leeds John Charles Stadium (KO 12pm)
(This will be played as a prelude to the BAFANL Divison One Final)

BAFANL U17 Plate Tournament
Saturday 3rd September: Sheffield Hallam University Sports Park
(G1: 12pm KO, G2: 1.15pm KO, G3: 2.30pm KO)
(Final KO: 4pm)

BAFANL U17 Championship Tournament
Saturday 3rd September: Sheffield Hallam University Sports Park
(G1: 3.30pm KO, G2: 4.45pm KO, G3: 6pm KO)
(Final KO: 7.15pm)

BAFANL U12 Flag Football Championship Tournament
Saturday 17th September: Sheffield Hallam University Sports Park
(G1: 12pm KO, G2: 1.15pm KO, G3: 2.30pm KO)
(Final KO: 3.45pm)

BAFANL U17 Flag Football Championship Tournament
Saturday 17th September: Sheffield Hallam University Sports Park
(G1: 1pm KO, G2: 2.15pm KO, G3: 3.30pm KO)
(Final KO: 4.45pm)

Already DC has been contacted by Coaches with concerns regarding Junior games taking place on a Saturday with only one month’s notice.

We’re also aware that the Second Division National League Finals are not mentioned, though we expect the league to release a statement about the Senior venues and times soon.
