The UCLan Rams have announced the appointment of Chris Bradley as their Head Coach ahead of the 2018/19 BUCS season.
The appointment represents a return to the Rams for Coach Bradley who has work with the team in numerous roles over the years, including previously heading up the outfit.
Per the UCLan Rams Facebook page:
It is with great pleasure that we can finally announce our head coach for the 18/19 season.
After much deliberation we have decided to appoint, and welcome back, Chris Bradley
Previously, Chris has served as the HC for the Rams in its early years, as well being OL coach and Offensive Co-Ordinator in years past. He has also spent time as the HC/OC of the Lancashire Wolverines and more recently appointed as OL coach for the Great Britain u19’s team. All of this experience will be invaluable in his second stint as HC.
Chris had this to say on his appointment:
“I’m delighted to be Head Coach of the UCLan Rams again. Following on from Sam Bloomfield will not be an easy task. His hard work and passion for this team have helped make the club what it is today and gives me and the new coaching team a strong base to build from.
I’m very excited for the new season and work has already begun to ensure we are ready to go in September. With a dedicated and hard working committee, an exciting new coaching team and a very talented group of returning players the Rams are in a great position to have another successful year.
The team spirit among the Rams is second to none and I cannot wait to welcome new players to the team. This team has so much potential it is an honour and a privilege to be able to help them meet that potential.”
Keep an eye out for our other coaching appointments later this week
