UCLan Rams Seek New Head Coach Ahead of 18/19 Campaign

Following the departure of Head Coach Sam Bloomfield the University of Central Lancashire Rams have begun the hunt for a new Head Coach, as well as other positional coaches for next seasons coaching staff.

Luc Kinder has stepped down as OC/WR Coach after 2 years; co-DC/LB coach Lee Horrocks has stepped down and RB Coach Dave Barnett has also stepped down.

We are looking to improve our coaching staff wherever possible and are open to any applications, but specifically for the following vacant positions:

  • Head Coach
  • Offensive Coordinator
  • Wide Receivers Coach
  • Running Backs Coach
  • Linebackers Coach

All positions require a major time commitment, in terms of planning sessions, watching and reviewing film from games and practice where available, attending training sessions (Tuesday evenings, Thursday evenings and Sundays – home games are Saturdays, with no training if we have a game).

The ideal candidate for each position will have some coaching experience; although inexperienced candidates will be considered providing they have relevant playing experience to draw upon. All positions are on a voluntary basis.

Closing date for applications for all roles is 29th June 2018.

If you are interested, please send your application to uclanaf@gmail.com or complete the application in the ‘Jobs’ section of the UCLan Rams Facebook page.
