Wilkins Announced As New Sunderland Spartans Head Coach

The Sunderland Spartans have announced their new Head Coach ahead of the 2018/19 season – Gateshead Senators workhorse coach, Adam Gray Wilkin.

As the Spartans prepare to re-ascend the BUCS ranks, they’ve brought on board a tireless new leader of the coaching staff. This past summer season, Coach Wilkin has been incredibly active throughout the various age brackets of the British game, as well as having a leading role in the expansion of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Jag Tag programme in the North East.

Coach Wilkin shared via the Spartans’ Facebook page that his key goals for this first season coaching the Spartans in the BUCS 2A Borders will be getting the better of the Teesside Cougars, as well as earning promotion to the middle tier of the University game.
