Worcestershire Black Knights withdraw from club’s first ever playoff game vs South Wales Warriors

Last night the Worcestershire Black Knights shared a statement that they would be unable to compete in their first ever playoff fixture versus the South Wales Warriors.

The Black Knights made playoffs this year for the first time in the young programme’s history, rounding out their year with a 4-3-1 record following their 40-24 victory over the Jurassic Coast Raptors on the final weekend of the season.

According to their statement, the Knights were deeply regretful that they were forced to make this decision, but suffered a number of key injuries in this fixture, meaning they are unable to safely field a roster in the Division Two playoffs, which begin this weekend.
