Yorkshire Academy’s Dale Bottomley Finalist for Leeds Sport Award

Following on from his success as the Britball Nation Awards Coach of the Year in 2017, the Yorkshire Academy’s of American Football’s Dale Bottomley has been announced as a finalist at the Leeds Sports Awards, alongside Professional Football Managers, World Boxing Champions and Olympians.

Nominated in the Coach – Participation category for a ‘special contribution’ made to Sport in the City, the announcement follows Coach Bottomley’s rapidly expandingly responsibilities this past year, as he co-founded the Yorkshire Academy, and took on the reins of the Yorkshire Rams BAFA NL outfit alongside his existing roles at the Leeds Beckett University team, and Leeds Assassins.
