While weâre still a way off the University season getting underway, the Derby Braves are making moves to ensure theyâre in a position to take another shot at a first ever Uniball title in 2018/19, with the appointment of standout player, Taylor Brown, to the Defensive Coordinator position.
Playing for the University of Derby Braves and Leicester Falcons, over the past couple of seasons Brown has built a reputation as the hardest working baller in Britball, respected by teammates and rivals alike. He took on the roles of Captain, President, as well as the standout playmaker for the Braves last year in teamâs strongest-performing season to date, Derby coming a couple of redzone stalls away from hoisting their first ever College Bowl trophy earlier this year, eventually losing out to the dominant Durham Saints.
