University

British University American Football is played under the BUCS (British University and College Sports) umbrella.

In 2018 there will be 81 teams competing in BUCS American Football, spread across three tiers of competition: the Premiership, Division One and Division Two.

Uniball is the way many Britballers are first introduced to the sport as University teams can help keep costs down for new players through Athletic Union funding and provision of kit to new players.

The past decade has seen the number of University teams rocket and the growth of scholarship opportunities means we're seeing a top teams draw international talent into the British game once again.
